The U.S. House of Representatives will be voting on the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act, House Bill 3110, this Friday, October 22! The lead-up to the House vote this week is a critical time for the PUMP Act and we MUST raise our voices and make sure there is a strong, bipartisan vote in favor of passage. We have updated the PUMP Act Partner Toolkit with the latest talking points, sample emails, social media messages, and unbranded graphics to make participation as simple as possible. We've also developed a PUMP Act Toolkit for Businesses, as input from employers is particularly valuable this week. Please join us every day this week by calling, tweeting, and emailing your Representative in the House and asking them to vote YES for the PUMP Act. And don't stop there! Please urge your network to take action so that we can get the PUMP Act over the finish line and to the President's desk.
Thank you for your ongoing support of the PUMP Act and for all you do to improve the infant feeding journey for families. None of this would be possible without you and your ongoing efforts! Please don't hesitate to contact us at advocacy@usbreastfeeding.org if you have any questions.
