The Breastfeeding Policy Map aims to gather state and federal policy proposals with the potential to influence human milk feeding and is updated on an approximately weekly basis. Inclusion on the USBC Breastfeeding Policy Map does not imply a position of the USBC. Do you have questions or feedback on how we can improve this resource? Contact [email protected].
Reference the instructions below the map to learn how to engage with this interactive tool. |
The USBC Breastfeeding Policy Map is an interactive map featuring proposed federal and state legislation and regulations with the potential to impact infant feeding and/or the lactation field.
The policy proposals included on the map are curated from federal and state government sources, allowing the lactation field to quickly and proactively scan the policy landscape to stay informed about policy opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends. Filter by state or issue area to view relevant bills and regulations, including bill status, most recent action, and a link to the full text. The map only reflects proposals from the current legislative session. Content from previous sessions are automatically removed by the software. |
