NACCHO Infant & Toddler Nutrition Security Course for Health Professionals

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) introduced the free, self-paced online course "Infant and Toddler Nutrition Security" to support local health departments and public health professionals. The course emphasizes the importance of optimal nutrition during the first 1,000 days of a child's life, from pregnancy to age two, which is crucial for lifelong health. It aims to equip health professionals with knowledge and tools to address barriers to nutritious food access. Sign up for free at NACCHO University to access the course.

AMCHP Fact Sheets on Maternal and Child Health Investments

The Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) launched a series of fact sheets providing overviews of critical federally funded programs that complement the Title V MCH Services Block Grant and their impact on maternal and child health populations. These fact sheets also highlight the importance of preserving and bolstering these programs.
