The U.S. Breastfeeding Committee is thrilled to introduce the 2021-2022 Board of Directors. Elected by our Voting Member organizations, the USBC Board of Directors is a talented cohort of breastfeeding advocates dedicated to supporting the organization's mission and vision. Board members bring a wide range of expertise and experiences to their board service, and the composition of this group directly reflects the organization's deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and representation. The USBC is proud that its Board is among the most diverse of any national organization.
![]() The U.S. House of Representatives is preparing to vote on the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections (PUMP) for Nursing Mothers Act (H.R. 3110). This is a big step, and because of that, it's truly very important that members of the House hear from constituents – individuals, organizations, and businesses in their district – asking them to vote YES for the PUMP Act. These calls take 2 minutes and can literally make the difference between a yes or no vote. Just text PUMP to 747464 (provided by MomsRising) or call 1-855-880-2155 (provided by ACLU). You'll be prompted to enter your zip code, and then will be connected with the office of your congressperson. If for any reason your call doesn't go through, you'll be redirected to the Capitol switchboard, which will ask you for the name of your Representative. If you don't know, you can ask them to look it up for you by providing your zip code. They'll then connect you to the correct office. |
