NBCC 2021 Award Application Deadline Extension: Sunday, March 28

We are pleased to announce a one-week extension to apply for an award to the National Breastfeeding Conference & Convening (NBCC). The deadline is now Sunday, March 28, 2021. Award recipients will receive a free full-access registration to the online conference, recognition for and promotion of their work, and more! To learn about the application and review process, see below, and visit the NBCC awards page.

Maternal and child health grassroots workers are invited to apply via three award categories:

  • The Drs. Ruth Lawrence & Audrey Naylor Emerging Leader Award is offered to dedicated individuals who are actively involved in maternal and child health in their communities, and/or are active members of a state, territorial, tribal, local, or cultural breastfeeding coalition. 
  • The Tribal Trailblazer Award honors talented and dedicated individuals who are actively involved in maternal and child health and promoting and supporting breastfeeding in their Tribes. This award is for individuals of American Indian/Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian heritage. 
  • Leaders and members of cultural breastfeeding coalitions and community-based organizations actively engaged in the birth and breastfeeding fields are invited to submit for the Cultural Changemaker Award.

The deadline to apply is now Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 11:59 pm PT.
