The webinar will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about the community-based doula model approach to supporting new families, particularly in underserved communities. HealthConnect One, a national organization that received funding from HRSA to provide technical assistance and training to six federally funded sites, will present on their establishment of the community-based doula model and subsequent replication to approximately 40 sites in 15 states. The meeting will provide participants with an in-depth look at the model, and learn about how this model addresses equity in breastfeeding support.
