For many Southwestern Indian Tribes, in the legend and creation mythologies, Spider Woman spread her silky web connecting to her people, sharing her wisdom and knowledge. Likewise the Indian Health Service and Indian Tribal Organizations have coordinated activities to strengthen their efforts to improve the health status of American Indian and Alaska Native people.
