Launched this month, this interactive, comprehensive platform is the training component of Vermont’s Breastfeeding Quality Improvement Project, using CDC's Maternity Practices in Infant Nutrition and Care (mPINC) survey data to improve maternity care practices. Expanding on California’s Birth and Beyond California (BBC) curriculum and adding new content to fulfill training objectives for the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, this training provides health care professionals with the tools to enhance parent-infant attachment, engender newborn breastfeeding competence, and increase patient satisfaction with no increase in staff workload.
