During this session, Allie Isaacson and Shawn Meyer will share their experience building a breastfeeding support program within a tribal health setting and community. Discussion will include completing a community assessment of lactation services, finding a local champion, policy changes and setting up lactation rooms at tribal community buildings and gaming sites. System changes that support breastfeeding and activities to promote breastfeeding within the community will be presented.
