On January 24, 2014, the United States Breastfeeding Committee established the Inaugural USBC Legacy Award to honor the lifelong achievement of Drs. Audrey Naylor and Ruth Lawrence. A reception held in coordination with the semi-annual USBC membership meeting celebrated their extraordinary commitment, dedication, and leadership in the field.
