The Call for Proposals Guidelines has all the relevant details for your NBCC presentation.

The United States Breastfeeding Committee (USBC) invites the submission of proposals to be considered for breakout panel presentations, table discussions, and poster presentations for the Ninth National Breastfeeding Conference & Convening "Taking Equity from Theory to Practice: Advancing Inclusive and Collaborative Breastfeeding Support" to be held on June 14 & 15, 2019, in Bethesda, MD.

The Call for Proposals Guidelines has all the relevant details.

To make the application process smooth and easy, view the submission process tutorial prior to starting your application.

The convening’s schedule has been designed to include full group learning sessions and a limited number of breakout sessions for peer sharing. Please note, for 2019, table topic discussions will be held during lunch (not breakfast) on one day only.

**Special Note Regarding Breakout Session Submissions**

The NBCC will highlight examples of strategic breakthroughs that are helping turn the tide and eliminate breastfeeding inequities in your communities. Breastfeeding coalitions, individuals, and other organizations are invited to submit presentation proposals. Dynamic and innovative proposals are invited for panel presentations in the categories:

  • Coalition Capacity Building
  • Health Equity/Impact
  • Leadership Development
  • Policy & Advocacy

For table topics and poster presentations, we invite you to share about your communities, programs, projects and coalition-building efforts. We look forward to highlighting how endeavors across areas of the Surgeon General's Call to Action and beyond are advancing health equity.
