Have you served as an equity coach, trainer, speaker, or evaluator? We want to hear from you!
The U.S. Breastfeeding Committee (USBC) is working to identify a cohort of equity experts to be included in a directory on the USBC website. This new resource will make it easier for individuals and organizations in our network to find the support they need to move forward in their equity journey.
If you have experience supporting others to operationalize equity, we invite you to complete the form by Friday, April 30. Individuals from all backgrounds are encouraged to complete the form.

Thank you for all you do to support our nation's families.

More On The Call for Equity Champions
For nearly a decade, the U.S. Breastfeeding Committee has been on a proactive and intentional equity journey. Equity is the lens through which we view the world to inform and guide the design of our strategies and activities. It is the mirror through which we view ourselves, our organization, and the field. It is also the outcome that we seek to achieve as we embrace our organization's vision of thriving families and communities.
With funding from the W.K Kellogg Foundation, the U.S. Breastfeeding Committee is seeking to identify a cohort of equity champions as part of our mandate to build a resource compendium to highlight leaders with experience supporting organizations striving to operationalize equity. This project will have three beneficiaries: 1) it supports the USBC by allowing the organization to serve as a resource for adoption and spread of equitable structural and cultural change interventions in the First Food Field; 2) it assists our funder by promoting equitable practices that impact the achievement of strong outcomes for children beyond the First Food Field; and 3) it benefits our members and partners by increasing the support provided to them for implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
