Breastfeeding Basics
Breastfeeding Basics is an academic, non-commercial, short course designed
to teach the fundamentals of breastfeeding to physicians and other
interested health professionals. The course can be taken on the Internet
and includes modules on such topics as anatomy and physiology, growth and
development, breastfeeding around the world, the breastfeeding couple, the
term infant with problems, and breast milk and drugs. Breastfeeding Basics
was developed by Mary OConnor, MD and Linda Lewin, MD, and their
colleagues at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.
